BOLD.
NO FUSS.
BE CHILL.
There’s enough disappointment already.
Stuck behind a guy with a surfboard on Kloof Street at 4pm.
Buying sourdough like the economy depends on it.
Saying “sharp sharp” after replying three business days later.
Bought one oversized linen set and suddenly started talking about “energy.”
Saying “eish” before every life decision.
Permanently “five minutes away” in Cape Town traffic.
VERY CAPE TOWN.
EXPENSIVE COFFEE.
AGGRESSIVE PARKING.
SOMEHOW STILL RELAXED.
“Bought one jar.
Now emotionally attached.”
REAL
HEAT.
REAL FLAVOUR.
Just good chilli chutney with a slightly unhinged personality.
Sweet Heat.
No inspirational quotes. No beige lifestyle content. Just flavour.
Unnecessarily Addictive.
One jar turns into emotional dependency surprisingly fast.
Cape Town Logic.
Complains about traffic.
Still drives to Camps Bay for “sunset quickly.”
YOU CAN
TASTE.
Built for burgers, braai’s, breakfast toasties and people who put chilli on absolutely everything.
Made properly. Tastes homemade. Looks better on your table
VERY OPINIONATED.
A CHILLING
STORY
Not exactly the inspiring founder journey.
Be Chill wasn't born in a fancy test kitchen or from some master plan. It started between deadlines, pressure, and everyday conversations.
A colleague kept pushing me to sell my chilli chutney. I laughed it off for ages because honestly… the market is flooded.
Another chilli sauce? Revolutionary.
I've spent years trying to grow categories, save categories and understand what actually makes people buy products.
So the idea of starting “just another chilli sauce” honestly felt very uncommercial to me.
Starting felt daunting.
There are shelves full of sauces all trying to scream louder than the next.
People will buy it.”
BOLD
FLAVOUR
Sweet heat with personality.
Not designed by a committee.
Definitely not mild.
NO
NONSENSE
No fake founder story.
No “crafted with passion” Talk.
Just flavour that slaps.
SLIGHTLY
CHAOTIC
Relaxed but ambitious.
A little spicy.
A little unhinged.
Very Be Chill.
